Louise-Marie (Lou) Oleksiuk received her PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh School Of Pharmacy in 2010 and completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Allegheny General Hospital in 2011 followed by a PGY2 Infectious Disease pharmacy residency at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in 2012. She has since worked as a clinical pharmacist in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship on the Shadyside campus. Her primary area of interest is the implementation of antimicrobial stewardship-related quality improvement initiatives in an effort to bring evidence-based care to the bedside.
