Rebecca Kumar is a faculty member in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Travel Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center. She specializes in Transplant Infectious Diseases (TxID), with a particular interest in MDR infections and medical education for TxID, including co-running the TxID Early Career Network (@TxID_Fellows) on X. She is also involved with the broader infectious disease community, serving as Vice President of the Greater Washington Infectious Disease Society (GWIDS).
