Dr. Jennifer DeCuir is a medical officer assigned to the Influenza Division at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she is the principal investigator for influenza activities in the VISION Network. Her previous position at CDC was as co-lead of the IVY Network, where her research focused on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness. She joined CDC in 2020 as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the Division of Global HIV and TB, and subsequently deployed to the CDC COVID-19 Response, serving on the Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome Unit and the Vaccine Task Force. Before joining CDC, Dr. DeCuir completed an MD and a PhD in epidemiology at Columbia University, followed by an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
