Heidi Kabler, MD
Heidi Kabler is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is both the Medical Director of Influenza for Sanofi Pasteur, as well as, a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine with The University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine. Currently, she drives US Medical Affairs activities related to influenza burden of disease and vaccine development. Dr. Kabler attended Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where she was Chief Resident. After residency, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she joined Fremont Emergency Services as an attending physician and later became a physician founding partner and owner of Advance Care Emergency Services. She also became a Principal Investigator and the Medical Director for eStudySite, a clinical research site where she led a variety of studies across therapeutic areas including antimicrobial development, women’s health, and metabolic studies; however, most of her research focused on infectious disease. Dr. Kabler remained active as a Principal Investigator, Emergency Medicine physician, and the IRB Chair for the Sunrise Health System until joining Sanofi Pasteur as a Medical Director of Influenza in August 2020.
