Dr. Rebecca Pierce is an Epidemiologist with the Outbreak Response Team in CDC's Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion. She brings a background in infection prevention, healthcare epidemiology, and research on transmission dynamics of healthcare pathogens. In her previous role, Pierce served as HAI/AR Program Manager in Oregon, where she led infection prevention, outbreak response, and HAI surveillance efforts.
