Born and raised in Milan, Italy, I graduated in 2020 in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan.
My interest in Infectious diseases started early during my studies: I was fascinated by Microbiology and the mechanisms of infectious diseases.
I graduated with a thesis in Paediatric Infectious Diseases focused on metabolic alterations in children and adolescent living with HIV. Soon after, in 2021, I started my Residency in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine at the University of Milan. During my residency years I focused my studies in antimicrobial resistance mechanisms, antibiotic therapy and infections in the Intensive Care Unit setting.
