Ms.Ablimitova received a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health in 2022 from Kazakh National Medical University. In 2022, she was accepted into the Central Asia Advanced Field Epidemiology Training Program in Almaty, Kazakhstan which is supported by U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As part of her FETP training, she is also enrolled in Kazakh National Medical University’s master’s degree in Field Epidemiology Program. of.
From 2023 to 2024, Ms. Ablimitova worked as an epidemiologist in the Department of Epidemiology at the Scientific and Practical Center for Sanitary-Epidemiological Expertise and Monitoring of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan. She oversaw vaccine-preventable infections and viral hepatitis, and supported investigations of foodborne disease outbreaks. Since August 2024, she has been working at the National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Republic of Kazakhstan, participating in the implementation of a new monitoring and evaluation model for tuberculosis programs. She is also a primary investigator on studies related to knowledge, attitudes and practices related to childhood immunizations among healthcare workers and parents of primary school children.
