Kevin received his PhD from the University of Michigan. His current work focuses on fitting mathematical models to infectious disease and evaluating the impact of different vaccines or vaccine policies on the transmission dynamics for different countries.
Previously he was an Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. His translational research combined field, lab, and computational components to identify and interpret the mechanisms responsible for the complex dynamics we observe in ecological and epidemiological systems. He is keenly interested in deciphering the population dynamics of infectious pathogens.
