Ili Margalit graduated his medical studies (MD) from The Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School, Jerusalem, Israel; and holds a master’s degree in public health (MPH) from the School of Public Health, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson Hospital, Petah Tikva.
Since 2023, he works as an Infectious Diseases specialist in the Infectious Diseases Unit and the Infection Control and Prevention Unit at Sheba Medical Center, Ramat Gan; and is a senior leturer at the School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv.
His research interests include epidemiology of infectious diseases, infections among individuals with immune compromise, infections among elderly individuals, and meta-analyses.
