Kristen Zeitler, BS, PharmD, BCPS, is an Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Specialist at Tampa General Hospital (Tampa, FL). She received her BS in Chemistry from Fairfield University (CT) in 2007. She went on to pursue her PharmD degree at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and graduated in 2011. Dr. Zeitler completed both her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Specialty Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She joined the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Tampa General Hospital in August 2013, is involved with the TGH Pharmacy Residency & USF ID Fellowship programs, and is an instructor with the USF Morsani College of Medicine. She also serves as a co-chair of the TGH Antimicrobial Subcommittee and is the chair of the Pharmacy Residency Research Subcommittee. Dr. Zeitler's current practice includes supporting stewardship services throughout the hospital, collaborating with ID and non-ID services, and providing education related to ID and antimicrobial stewardship. Dr. Zeitler is a current member of ACCP and SIDP.
