• Shamsudinov Mukhiddin Kubievich was born on April 12, 1991. He is Tajik by nationality. He’s a doctor epidemiologist in the Center for AIDS Prevention and Control of Sughd Region.
In 2015, he graduated from the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibn Sina with a degree in epidemiology, hygiene and public health. In 2016, he completed an internship at the Institute of Postgraduate Education in Health Care of the Republic of Tajikistan, specializing in public health. In 2022, he graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical College in Sughd region.
• From 2015 to 2018, he worked as a doctor epidemiologist in the State Institution “Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center” of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic. From 2018 to present, he has worked at the Sughd Regional AIDS Center as an epidemiologist. He is also a pharmacist for the Global Fund in the Sughd region.
• In 2023, he joined the Central Asia Advanced Field Epidemiology Training Program and began a master’s degree program at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyaroa. He is conducting epidemiological surveillance of HIV cases in health facilities in the Sughd region of Tajikistan, and studying determinants associated with late presentation and delayed initiation of treatment.
