Omar Huang David Escobar Franco is a medical doctor with a master's degree in epidemiology and a current doctoral candidate in epidemiology and biostatistics. He has experience as a physician in several hospitals, including the Hospital Universitario Nacional de Colombia, where he worked in both hematology/oncology and internal medicine. He also has consulting experience, having worked at the Clínica Internacional de Alta Tecnología S.A.S.
In addition to his clinical experience, Huang has a strong interest in research. He has participated in several research projects, including studies on Vaccines, streptococcus pneumoniae, multiple myeloma, primary leptomeningeal lymphoma, and factors associated with graft loss in kidney transplant patients. He has presented his research at conferences and has co-authored several articles.
