Justin Lee is a medical student at Drexel University College of Medicine and has been conducting phage therapy research with the Van Tyne Lab at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Originally from California, he graduated from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelors in Human Biology, where he also conducted phage biology and evolution research during his gap year before starting medical school. Justin has a large interest and passion for phage therapy and other technologies being developed to combat the rise of antimicrobial resistance. He hopes to be able to provide his future patients with these innovations. After medical school, Justin plans to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine and is considering Infectious Diseases as his future specialty. He also hopes to continue research and education as an academic physician.
