Tessa Barclay, MD, is a third year pediatric infectious diseases fellow at Duke University. She completed her medical training at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine in 2019, and her pediatrics residency at Duke University in 2022. During her residency, Tessa participated in the Duke Hubert Yeargan Global Scholars program, through which she spent two months working at Northern Navajo Medical Center, an Indian Health Service site in Shiprock, New Mexico. In fellowship, her clinical research involves studying bloodstream infections and opportunities for antimicrobial stewardship in the pediatric intestinal failure/short bowel syndrome population. Outside of the hospital, Tessa enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
