Angelique Boutzoukas is a third year Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellow at Duke University. She is pursing a career in academic clinical research, and is particularly interested in clinical trials to inform the rational prescribing of medications to children. Her primary research during fellowship has focused on excess post-discontinuaton antibiotic exposures in preterm infants receiving ampicillin. During her research years, she is pursuing an MPH in Applied Epidemiology from UNC Gillings School of Public Health, as well as a Clinical Research Fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute.
