Haris Ahmad, MPH is a second year ORISE Fellow in the Influenza Division at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. He is one of the data analysts for the New Vaccine Surveillance Network (NVSN), a network monitoring flu activity in pediatric populations. He primarily works on analyzing seasonal influenza cases and vaccine effectiveness in pediatric settings, along with being the sequencing lead for NVSN.
Haris received his bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Toledo and completed his Master's in Public Health from Kent State University.
