Elisabeth Chandler is a graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Following her graduation, she completed a PGY1 residency followed by a PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Chandler has been in her current practice as an Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Clinical Specialist at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL since 2019. In her current role, Dr. Chandler co-leads the system wide Antimicrobial Stewardship program, serves as the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency program director, and precepts pharmacy students and residents on rotation and through longitudinal/quality improvement projects. She is an active member of SIDP and her local FSHP Southern Gulf chapter. Her professional interests include clinical leadership, antimicrobial stewardship program management, pharmacokinetics, and precepting.
