I am Giulia Soska Baldissera, a Medical Doctor and Infectologist, and currently a Master's Degree student at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. I graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in 2020 and specialized in Infectious Diseases at the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre in 2024. My Master's thesis focuses on urinary tract infections caused by carbapenem-resistant bacteria in kidney transplant patients. Additionally, I am working with HIV and tuberculosis at outpatient specialized services in Porto Alegre and the metropolitan area.
