James Dickey MD is an internal medicine resident at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta Univeristy in Augusta, GA. He attended undergraduate at Emory Univeristy, completing both a BS with High Honors in Biology and a BA in Music. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, during which time he particpated in the National Institutes of Health Medical Research Scholars Program between his third and fourth years as a medical student. While at NIH, he worked in the Emerging Pathogen Section of the NIH Clinical Center and National Insitute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. After completing the MRSP program and finishing his final year of medical school, he remained at the Medical College of Georgia for his internal medicine residency. Upon completion of residency, he plans to pursue a combined fellowship in critical care medicine and infectious diseases.
