Dr. Kayla R. Stover is the Assistant Dean-Jackson, Vice-Chair and Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, with joint appointments at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Medicine-Infectious Diseases and Pharmacology. She serves as the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Program Director for the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Stover received her Pharm.D. degree from Ohio Northern University, completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at West Virginia University Hospitals, and a PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Stover is a board certified infectious diseases pharmacist and a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Her research interests include infectious diseases, with specific interest in antifungal pharmacotherapy, antimicrobial stewardship, and special populations; scholarship of education; and pharmacy residency training. Stover has been recognized as a Fellow of ACCP and the IDSA.
