I am graduated in Medicine from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo in 1991 and went on to earn a Master's degree in Preventive Medicine from the Universidade de São Paulo in 2000, followed by a Ph.D. in the same field in 2005. Furthering their expertise, they completed an MBA in Business Analytics and Big Data at FGV.
From 1995 to 2021, I had served as a professor and researcher at the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo, actively engaging in both undergraduate and postgraduate academic activities, focusing on Epidemiology, Statistics, and Public Health. They held the position of Head of the Department of Public Health from 2017 to 2019. During this time, they played a pivotal role in structuring and accrediting the institution's distance education program with the Ministry of Education (MEC) and in implementing the Emergency Remote Teaching, coordinating the distance learning area from 2017 to 2021.
I have extensive experience in developing research projects and providing consultancy in Public Health, with a particular emphasis on Epidemiology, Data Analysis, and Health Education. Their scientific work has addressed critical issues such as living conditions, social inequalities, migration and health, physical activity, vaccination coverage, and HIV/AIDS. Currently, they are involved in multidisciplinary projects focusing on innovation and technological integration in the health sector.
