Dr. Lewis Musoke is an ID physician at the VA North East Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS) and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Musoke was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. He attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed his Internal medicine residency training at Trinitas Regional Medical Center/Rutgers NJMS in NJ. He then went on to complete his Infectious Diseases and HIV medicine fellowship training in June 2021 at Case Western Reserve University. To further nurture his research interests in HIV, Dr. Musoke joined the GRECC ( Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Educaiton in July of 2021 as a post doctoral fellow, where he focused on implementation of novel care models to expand HIV care and prevention in marginalized veteran populations. His research interests also include improving care delivery for aging veterans with HIV, with a particular focus on cardiovascular disease prevention in this population. Dr. Musoke current roles include director of the outpatient infectious diseases clinic and outpatient parenteral therapy ( OPAT) at the VANEOHS.
