Dr. Ali Althubyani is originally from Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He earned two Doctor of Pharmacy degrees, the first degree was from Umm Al-Qura University at Saudi Arabia in 2014 and the second one was from NSU-COP at Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2021. He completed his PGY1 and PGY2-ID at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2023. Currently, he is doing his fellowship in infectious diseases at NSU/MHS. Althubyani is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Althubyani professional interests include multidrug-resistant infections, antimicrobial stewardship, and academia. His career goals include practicing as a board-certified infectious diseases specialist at an academic medical center affiliated with a school of pharmacy, combining clinical practice with both research and teaching experiences. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys traveling, exploring new places, playing soccer and tennis, learning new languages, and spending time with family and friends.
