Rebecca Tenner graduated from Tufts University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Community Health. Since then, she has been conducting research at Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile, where her work focuses on antimicrobial resistance and rates of colonization with gram-negative bacteria. At this year’s conference, Rebecca will present her research titled “Evaluating Different Screening Methods to Assess the Prevalence of Gut Colonization with Multidrug-Resistant Gram-Negative Bacilli in Hospitalized Patients” during the poster session. Rebecca is set to begin her medical school journey in July 2025.
