Julian Lindsay, BPharm(Hons), MClinPharm, PhD, is a T32 Postdoctoral Fellow at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle, Washington, USA (in conjunction with the National Centre for Infection in Cancer, Australia) and former Senior Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Pharmacist in Sydney, Australia, specializing in infection prevention in hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and hematological malignancy. As PI for several clinician-led research projects investigating opportunistic infections in HCT, these studies have resulted in practice change in HCT supportive care in the specific areas of invasive fungal prophylaxis, cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) management. As a Clinical Researcher and Pharmacist he aims to strengthen the US and Australian cross-continent research collaborations in HCT and Hematology.
