Jaime Borkowski, PharmD, BCIDP, BCPS, is an Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital and a Practice Coordinator for the Northwestern Medicine Antimicrobial and Diagnostic Stewardship Program. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, and a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Jaime took a position at what is now Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in 2009 and has spent the past 15 years building their Antimicrobial Stewardship program. She co-chairs the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and the Emergency Department Antimicrobial Stewardship Team at Delnor and works closely with practitioners to improve antimicrobial usage at Delnor and across the Northwestern Medicine System. Jaime also precepts pharmacy residents and students in the areas of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Diseases. Jaime is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacists (ACCP) ID-PRN, Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) and the Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists (ICHP). Her primary research involves implementation of antimicrobial stewardship initiatives in the community hospital and system settings.
