I am a Health Scientist with Centers for Disease Control in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion. I began my federal career with Indian Health Service in 2020 as a public health nurse, leading the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines and providing case investigation/contact tracing efforts for the community and employees. My prior work experience ranges from working with a local health department doing home visitations, to working in intensive care units in hospitals. I have been involved in process improvement, innovation projects, and research with each position I have held. I gained my Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in public health from the University of Kansas in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University in 2013. In my free time, I enjoy tending to house plants, hiking, and casual bike rides.
