In 2007 I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy Degree, summa cum laude, from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. I went on to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency followed by a PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency in Infectious Diseases. I am currently practicing as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Within immunocompromised patients my areas of interests include infectious complications in BMT / CART patients and the development and implementation of antimicrobial stewardship initiatives in immunocompromised patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic I was the primary person for developing and optimizing protocols in managing infected immunocompromised patients. In 2021 those COVID protocols and guidelines were selected as one of the winners of the Spirit of Moffitt Award. Currently I serve as one of the panelists on IDSA Infectious Complications Associated with Immunomodulatory Therapies Guidance, precept students, residents and fellows and serve as the Chair of the Moffitt Cancer Center Internal Medicine Research Committee.
