Dr. Ramara E. Walker, PharmD, BCIDP, AAHIVP is currently an Infectious Diseases (ID) Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degrees from The Ohio State University. Subsequently, she completed her Post-Graduate General Pharmacy Practice and Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residencies at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (formerly known as the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center), respectively. Her current specialty/research interests within ID include HIV/PrEP, community-acquired pneumonia, infective endocarditis, and health equity. As a result of her passion for health equity, Dr. Walker also developed and serves as the chairperson for the Health Equity Antimicrobial Stewardship Taskforce (HEAT) at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.
