Michelle graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is currently a Clinical Research Coordinator on a CDC-funded grant in the Infectious Disease department at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her project aims to expand Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) expertise by designing and employing Clinical Decision Support Systems in electronic health records. She also works to develop and test virtual reality training for IPC with embedded competency assessments. She is interested in the social determinants that make healthcare inaccessible and the impact of technology on advancing access and outcomes. Her previous research focused on HIV/AIDS and substance use in adolescents.
