Dr. Dutcher received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in 2008, graduating magna cum laude. She then completed her medical training at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2013, where she was awarded a full tuition scholarship. She then went on to perform her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine (completed 2016) as well as her clinical fellowship in Infectious Diseases (ID) at the University of Pennsylvania (completed 2018). Additionally, she enrolled in the Master of Science in Clinical epidemiology (MSCE) training program in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB), which was awarded in 2021. She served in the role of Instructor of Medicine in the ID division From 2019 to 2022, after which she was appointed to Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases, as well as Senior Scholar in the CCEB. Her research focuses on antimicrobial use and stewardship.
