Hanna Wardell, MD, MPH, is an attending physician and Director of Patient Safety and Quality in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University with a focus in clinical effectiveness. Dr. Wardell completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA and completed pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital with a specialized final year focused on antimicrobial stewardship. Her research interests focus on improving the use of diagnostic tests for infectious diseases to advance the goals of diagnostic and antimicrobial stewardship.
