Dr. Dipen M Patel is a stewarship epidemiologist with the Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program at the Tennessee Department of Health. He received his Bachelor of Medicine Degree from Gujarat, INDIA. He received his Master’s in Public Health Degree from California State University, San Marcos in 2020. After graduation in MPH, he servered for Orange County Department of Public Health, CA as COVID-19 investigator Epidemiologist. He also received Master’s in Project Management at University of Cumberlands, KY in 2023. His work at Tennessee Department of Health is to analyze Antimicrobial Use and Resistance data from National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), assist in Multi-site Gram-negative Surveillance Initiative (MUGSI) program, assist in outbreakteam, and investigation of injectable Drug Diversion Cases.
