Lina Hamid is an Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at M Health Fairview, University of Minnesota Medical Center. Dr. Hamid earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and went on to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Southern California College of Pharmacy. She completed PGY1 pharmacy residency training at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN and PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy residency training at Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Hamid is Board Certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacist (BCIDP) and is a member of SIDP, IDSA,and ACCP. She has a passionate for teaching and precepting pharmacy residents and students on their ID and antimicrobial stewardship rotations. Her interests include antimicrobial resistance, interface between microbiology laboratory and treatment teams, multi-professional education, and advancing pharmacy practice.
