LucĂa Luna Wong, MD, PhD, is a first-year fellow in the University of Washington Infectious Diseases Training Program. Born and raised in Peru, she's an evolutionary biologist and physician interested in emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and pursuing a career as an academic physician-scientist. This is her first time attending ID Week and she is thrilled to be here. Her poster presentation Strongyloides is based on research she did while an internal medicine resident at the University of Arizona - Tucson.
