Star (Estrella) Cervantes is an antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease pharmacist based at the Chicago Department of Public Health. She obtained her PharmD from Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy in Schaumburg, Illinois, she furthered her expertise through PGY-1 training at Ascension Health in Joliet, Illinois.
At present, she is dedicated to spearheading antimicrobial stewardship/resistance initiatives within healthcare settings across Chicago.
