Karan Raja is the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, New Jersey. He graduated from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy (EMSOP), Rutgers University with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Karan completed residency training at Clara Maass Medical Center. He then achieved Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy and Infectious Diseases Pharmacy from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. He subsequently attained certification as an HIV Pharmacist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Karan serves as an adjunct faculty preceptor with EMSOP and precepts pharmacy students in ID/AMS. He is also a preceptor in ID, AMS, and Drug Information for the Clara Maass pharmacy residency program. He serves on various hospital, health-system, and national ID, AMS, and Global Health Committees. He has published research in ID/AMS, Critical Care, and Emergency Medicine Pharmacy.
