Noreen Chan Tompkins, PharmD, BCPS, APh, is the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pharmacy Co-Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) and Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University Southern California School of Pharmacy and completed residencies in pharmacy practice and infectious diseases at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). She began her career as the AIDS Clinical Trial Unit Clinical Pharmacist at HUP before transitioning to Allegheny General Hospital/Allegheny Health Network where she implemented the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and Clinical Pharmacokinetics Service. She has served in clinical, program director, faculty and administrative roles within PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residencies, Infectious Disease physician fellowship programs and pharmacy schools.
