Etsuro Nanishi, MD, PhD, is a clinical fellow at the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. He completed pediatric residency and fellowship training, as well as graduate school (PhD in Immunology) in Japan. He then moved to Boston Children's Hospital and performed vaccine research during the pandemic as a research fellow. He is currently in a Peds ID clinical fellowship program and his future goal is to become an independent physician scientist in pediatric infectious diseases and vaccinology field.
